PLANNING

The needs of the child provide the basis of our planning. Every child has various experiences, exposure and learning which they bring in to enrich our starting point. We use the experience and abilities of each child as a starting point.

We also compile a selection of topics that will help extend and maximise the learning opportunities, and select the one that will apply to all the children and plan the adult focused activities based on this. Activities are broken down into weekly and daily plans to show what EYFS area it falls under. The opinion of the children are sought in order to incorporate their ideas in the plans.

We strive to ensure different areas of the EYFS curriculum is focussed daily on, in order to provide well rounded and wholesome activities.
