What some of our parents say

Harrys mum commented : 'It was really nice to see him arrive with his face painted . He kept looking at himself in the mirror and giggling. When we washed the face paint off, he burst out crying. I find the observations made in his learning journey very useful as his dad has to drop him off and pick him up. He is making a lot of connections between images and words. He has also been saying a lot more. The other day , he stood in the middle of the room turning round and round , mumbling. I imagined he had been singing ring around the roses at nursery. They confirmed it.'

Johns mum commented: 'I wish I had brought him here a long time ago. When i took him to the previous nursery , he cried every day I dropped him. This made me feel really guilty . since he has been coming to firm foundations , he has never cried when I drop him.'

Cath mother of twins said; 'the boys used to be unwell almost every week , especially Nath. who was premature . The previous provision was convenient but not really helping the children to learn . They have been brilliant here at Firm Foundations Day Care.'

Natalia said : 'I am happy to go to work because she smiles at me when I drop her at nursery . I know she is in good hands.'

Tristans mum said: 'I was happy to get a call to let me know about his progress on his first day.'

Georges mum says ‘I enjoy reading through his learning journey. It gives me an idea of what he has been up to. The photos are very useful.

We make childhood fun !!!!!
